Yitzhak Shadar is the owner and the spiritual father of Zahavi Steel.
Yitzhak, a former Navy member and merchant marine sailor, began his professional career as a lathe operator. He worked at an American factory in the Ashdod Port that specialized in producing home heating pipes, where he significantly influenced the work processes by improving and streamlining production.
Over the years, Yitzhak acquired an old factory for furniture fittings manufacturing named "Tavaz-Metal Works," which he advanced, especially in the fields of presses and dies.
In 1995, Yitzhak acquired Israel Zahavi & Co., a steel trading house established in 1936. The merger between a manufacturing company and a leading steel import company is a success story for the company.
From a small factory with a few employees, the factory grew and became a thriving plant with dozens of employees. It provides a wide range of high-quality solutions and products to the most successful industries in Israel and even exports its goods worldwide.
