What are Shims?

Shims are spacers used for leveling and aligning machines and components.

The purpose is to establish a balance between two axes, coordinate between two parts, and elevate components to their precise location with exact thickness and ease. Shims can be produced as thin films in the required thickness or specific shapes suitable for the desired application.
 
Available Thicknesses:
Shims are available starting from a thickness of 0.01 mm and can be supplied in any required thickness.

Materials and Shapes:

We stock thin films made from spring stainless steel, soft stainless steel, spring steel, soft steel, and brass. Additionally, we manufacture shims in any shape, from U-shaped shims that fit around bolts to washers.

The products are manufactured according to samples, drawings, or specifications to meet customer requirements.

● Spring Stainless Steel:

Due to its high hardness, the material does not wrinkle and maintains uniform thickness, especially in thin dimensions. Shims are often ordered in various thicknesses for combination and achieving the desired total thickness.

● Stainless Steel:

A durable material from the iron alloy family, contains at least 10.5% chromium, which prevents rusting. It is recyclable and safe for health.
